Sharon Keeny and Jackie Mantua are trying to put a 3.5W team together to play out at Circle D, but they need players.   If anyone is interested please contact them at the address above.   Thanks.

As you know, the recent "proposed" ruling regarding having to choose one of the three places in Howard County (Columbia, Circle D or Cattail) to play caused some panic in that some of the teams that played at Circle D last year that were planning on returning moved elsewhere.

Now that the rule has been reversed and WILL allow players to play in more than one of the Howard County locations, we are now in need of a few more teams for the Circle D league.

Would you please send my message to the Columbia 3.5 Women's Adult captains from last year in the hopes we can recruit a couple more teams.

Some specifics are:

    1.    All Circle D matches start at 6:30 pm.
    2.    All Circle D matches will always be played on the scheduled date/time; if the weather does not permit outdoor play, there are indoor facilities to permit indoor play of the scheduled match.  The cost is $70/team.
    3.    The cost for the USTA season at Circle D is $20 for Circle D members and $30 for non-members.
    4.    Food and drinks are available through Circle D for a very nominal fee.
    5.    Team are allowed to bring food when there is outdoor play; food must be purchased from Circle indoors.

I have also copied Linda Kessler on this e-mail as she is the Webb team co-captain.

We very much want to keep this league going so any assistance you could provide to get the word out would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
