SPECIAL OLYMPICS TENNIS

In March, Nancy Van Winter is taking her Howard County Special Olympic Tennis team to the National Invitational Tournament in Hilton Head, S.C.    To do so, she needs to raise around $800.00 per athlete. The Howard County Tennis Association sponsored one child {HCTA}, The Albright Foundation donated a substantial amount and Columbia Association donated a few thousand dollars to have the athletes equipped.

I am asking that we all consider helping in any way we can.  There is a donation web site that you can contribute directly to, http://www.firstgiving.com/ or you can contact Nancy Van Winter directly at nvanwinter@verizon.net to help.    If we all give some, it adds up, any amount will be greatly appreciated. 

This cause is truly worthwhile, and Nancy is doing a great job getting these kids and their program coordinated.  Please consider helping with this tax deductible gift.  The joy that this program creates needs to be kept alive.
